'Alien Girl' J Hus
A new visual for J Hus’s ‘Alien Girl’ launched this week, inviting fans to go on a galaxy tour through the form of an interactive video experience.
Black Butter and 4th Floor brainstormed an idea to explore the world of ‘Alien Girl’ through two different perspectives. From here 4th Floor Visual Creative commissioned Partizan and the animation studio Picnic for two music videos, telling the same story but from different perspectives, one ‘Brutal’ and one ‘Beautiful’, taking inspiration from Hus’s album title ‘Beautiful and Brutal Yard’. 4th Floor’s Digital and New Tech team then tasked digital agency P4SD to create an experience around the videos, letting fans explore the universes seamlessly.
The result went live on a few weeks ago and is already gaining traction and plaudits, with Clash Magazine describing it as a ‘cool and deeply ambitious’ interactive music video.
