Gareth Pugh x Nick Knight SS21 - Refuge project
Jazz / R&B performer IAMDDB featured and starred in a campaign fashion film for leading British designer Gareth Pugh, to mark the designers return to the London Fashion Week schedule in September 2020. The film titled ‘The Reconstruction’ was shot by legendary fashion photographer Nick Knight at his iconic SHOWstudio in London.
The campaign film was produced to be a body of work presented as fashion’s answer to a ‘visual concept album’, in support of and in partnership with Refuge – the UK’s leading charity supporting those impacted by domestic violence. Other notable names that were a part of the campaign include Christina Aguilera and Rina Sawayama. The photos / film from the campaign featuring IAMDDB were all on display in an exhibition at Christie’s London across London Fashion Week with all proceeds from the exhibition going to Refuge.
