‘Creation Stories’ charts the rise and fall, or the very high highs, and the inevitable comedowns of Creation Records and its infamous founder Alan McGee – and has finally burst onto our Sky Box Office screens! Sony Music are Executive Producers of the film, and 4th Floor Creative have been heavily involved since pre-production, working closely with the director, producers and music supervisor throughout.

From humble beginnings to Downing Street soirées, from dodging bailiffs to releasing multi-platinum albums, Creation had it all. Breakdowns, bankruptcy, fights and friendships… and not forgetting the music. Featuring some of the greatest records you have ever heard, we follow Alan through a drug-fuelled haze of music and mayhem, as his rock’n’roll dream brings the world Oasis and Primal Scream among the generation-defining bands.

Creation Stories is written by Irvine Welsh and Dean Cavanagh and directed by Nick Moran. The film stars an incredible line up of British talent including Ewen Bremner, Jason Isaacs, Jason Flemyng, Suki Waterhouse, Thomas Turgoose, Siobhan Redmond and Richard Jobson.

The iconic soundtrack is out now via Sony’s Commercial Group, which features music from the film as well as other Creation releases – and celebrates the best of what is without doubt one of the most creative labels and entrepreneurs the music industry has ever seen.
